No-one should really be surprised by this report on IT Pro. The gist of it is that staff using AI tools experience "long-term reliance [dependence/addiction] and diminished independent problem-solving" , losing their critical thinking capability. This is something that has been going on for a few years, as a result of social media and online search engines, but is now accelerating due to AI use. There really seems little hope for the human race. |
