Livescience.com reports that Yoshua Bengio, one of the founders of today's AI technology, now says that Artificial Intelligence could pose a threat to the existence of humankind. I am sure that he will be ignored; there is already too much vested interest on the part of big business. Anyway, why would anyone pay attention to one of the foremost experts in the field? I feel that it is probably already too late to put the genie back in the bottle. | |
