Food Recall Fever In The USA.

In the last week (actually 8 days) there have been so many food recalls in America that I really have to question whether it is safe to eat anything in the USA.

Newsweek reports a recall of Macaroni and Cheese, Waffles, Popsicles, Fresh Fruit, Raisins; NPR reports a recall of eggs in 9 states; NJ.com reports a recall of two Costco food products (the Waffles mentioned previously, and Smokey Hibachi Skirt Steaks).

Newsweek also published an article summarising recent food recalls and associated health issues and deaths.

It all looks very bad. Bear in mind that these cases are only those that breached FDA or EPA regulations, which are notoriously lax by international standards: people in America can still buy many products that are illegal and considered unsafe in places like Europe. Add to this the scandals in many American towns of tap water that is unsafe to drink.

I think that enemies of the USA, like Russia, North Korea and Iran can stop trying to attack them, because America is going to wipe itself out with dangerous or downright poisonous food and drink.
